Dawnish school tries to address the community's educational needs for the children which can not be found elsewhere. Children are required to be educated in their home language (Farsi) and through their culture. Providing these educational opportunities can help the families to bridge the gap between two generations with different values. Significantly, when children know how to speak, read, and write in Farsi, they can have rich conversations with family members, friends, and they can learn about their cultural backgrounds through reading Farsi text which contributes to reinforcing their linguistic and cultural identity.
